1. Where are you from? What do you do for work? Family?
My wife (Courtney – better known as CW), daughter and I moved to Georgia from Dallas, Texas about 5 years ago. We definitely still call ourselves Texans!! I work for NCR – that’s what brought us to Georgia.
2. When did you start CFP?
I started CrossFit in November of 2012 at CrossFit Silos with Travis and Marjorie. Been hooked ever since!!!
3. What’s your biggest fitness/health accomplishment since starting CFP?
My Olympic lifts have become much stronger. The most fun part to me is the mental side – I feel I can push through the mental blocks better.
4. What are your future fitness goals?
I want to continue to make progress without getting hurt. I have a tendency to push a little harder than my body can handle at time (surprise!).
5. What do you do for fun?
Hang out with the family and CrossFit

Would it surprise anyone if I said thrusters 🙁
8. What advice would you give to anyone wanting to start at United Performance?
Commit. When you give CrossFit a chance, stick with it, and become part of the community – there isn’t a better workout experience out there! Also, listen to your body. If you don’t you can get hurt and the time to recover will be longer and more frustrating than the temporary ego hit of not going heavy or pushing too hard (easier said than done).
