- Where are you from? What do you do for work? Family?
I was born in Atlanta, Ga. and have lived in Ga my entire life. I am in the Commercial Real Estate Business. I have a wife and 3 boys and a Blood Hound. Carrie (41), Jake (10), Grady (8),Virgil (5) and Cash(2). We are a very active family. My wife is an accomplished Masters Swimmer who competes regularly. My kids love and play all sports.
- When did…I think this was when did I join CFP?
January 2015.
- What’s your biggest fitness/health accomplishment since starting CFP?
Being consistent in showing up.
- What are your future fitness goals?
I want to see steady improvement and more flexibility…although I hate to stretch…and it shows.
- What do you do for fun?
I like to travel, go to the lake, water ski, hunt, fish, build and work on cars, boats, and make things. I like drag racing cars and boats, spending time with my family and generally learning how to do new things and work with my hands. Truth is I have so many hobbies I am not terribly good at any of them. I like to do it all.
- Favorite lift/wod?
Things I can see myself improving on.
- Least favorite left/wod?
Things where I do not feel like I am improving on. Burpees suck. It is a long way to fall to the ground and a long way to stand back up.
- What advice would you give to anyone wanting to start at CFP?
Mark Twain said…. “the best way to get ahead…..is to get started.” CFP is a tremendous place with exceptional coaching and people in general. Each hour is like a personal training session. It is like everything in life, the more you put into it, the more you will get out of it. There is a lot to get out of CFP with the coaches, the facilities, and the camaraderie. We (CFP Family) are all very lucky to have what we have.
